Front Office Training Program
During this hospitality training experience, participants will learn:
• Providing exceptional guest service and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Welcoming guests with professional and friendly communication.
• Completing guest check-in and check-out procedures.
• Learning hotel reservation systems and property management systems.
• Handling telephone calls and responding to guest questions.
• Following proper cash handling procedures and completing shift responsibilities.
• Learning hotel services, amenities, room locations, and local area information.
• Monitoring room availability, promotions, and guest program benefits.

Candidate Requirements
Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements for the J-1 Internship/Trainee Program.
Candidates should have:
• Current enrollment in a post-secondary Hospitality program.
OR
• A Hospitality degree with at least 1 year of relevant work experience outside the United States.
OR
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant hospitality work experience outside the United States.
